影絵遊び〜絵金〜

EKIN

幕末から明治にかけて多くの残酷画を残した異端絵師・絵金の作品の影絵化。影絵はファンタジーをテーマにしたものが多いが、その概念を取り払いたいと考え、残酷画の中に垣間見える絵金の”品”を大事にしながら、現代風の影絵にアレンジした。

A silhouette art of the work of heretic painter Ekin, who left many cruel paintings from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji era. Many of the silhouette art have a fantasy theme, but I wanted to get rid of that concept, so I arranged it into a modern-style silhouette art while cherishing the "Elegance" of Ekin that can be glimpsed in his cruel paintings.
